Donations

Many families choose to request charitable donations in lieu of flowers, and we are pleased to offer our assistance in managing this thoughtful process at no additional cost.

Typically, families select a charity or worthy cause that holds special significance in honour of their loved one. Often, this is a charity connected to the deceased’s life or the care they received. If you wish to publish an obituary, details of your chosen charity can be included in the notice, and we will generate a QR code to facilitate easy online donations. Please note, cheque donations should be made payable directly to the nominated charity.

On your behalf, we will collect and record all donations. After six weeks, the total sum will be forwarded to your nominated charity or charities. You will then receive a detailed letter from us, providing a breakdown of the total raised and listing the names of those who contributed. Additionally, we will write to the charity, requesting that they acknowledge your generosity by sending their gratitude directly to you.
