Floral Tributes

Choosing the right floral tribute for your loved one can be hard, but we are here to help you with some ideas and inspiration. If your loved one had a particular favourite flower, or colour, you may want to think about incorporating them into a personalised arrangement.

It is usual for the spouse or close family members of the deceased to contribute towards one arrangement to be placed on the coffin. Other arrangements, usually from other family members, may be on display in the ceremony venue, or placed on the grave.

We have an extensive brochure of funeral flowers on display in our office from which arrangements can be chosen. Alternatively, options can be discussed with a florist who will usually have some helpful photographs and plenty of ideas. Flowers should be delivered on the day to ensure that they are fresh and look their best. The appointed florist will liaise with us to organise practical arrangements.

You may find the following examples useful, but please be aware that seasonal availability may affect some blooms, and standard arrangements can sometimes differ from the examples shown below.

Double-ended arrangements

A tasteful and memorable arrangement of white oriental lilies with a mixture of seasonal flowers and greenery.

A stunning double-ended coffin spray packed with large headed red roses accompanied with moluccella, red hypericum and complimentary green foliage.

A touching spray made from a wide variety of purple, lavender and white flowers blue hydrangeas, purple gladiolis, lisianthus, white roses, lilies, scabios, blue agapanthus and more with tropical ferns, fountain grass.

Single-ended arrangements

Charming single-ended spray of yellow roses and mixed yellow and cream flowers with complementary foliage.

Soft blue shades of delphiniums complemented by pink gerberas, large headed pink roses and pink carnations with complimentary foliage.

A beautiful orange and peach single-ended spray. Roses, chrysanthemums, carnations and bronze hypericum sit perfectly alongside variegated red and lime dracaena, aralia leaves, cocculus, salal.

Wreaths

A pretty delicate wreath with subtle pink tones, including a foliage edge and containing light pink roses, eustoma and alstromeria and more.

A classic selection of flowers including white roses, irises, carnations and chrysanthemums, gerberas in blues and whites are nestled into this traditional circular wreath.
