Wayne decided at the age of fifteen that he would dedicate his life to serving the bereaved families and their loved ones in Frome. He spent time on work experience through Frome College at what was then Frome’s only funeral directors. This experience confirmed Wayne’s path to passionately pursue a career as a Funeral Director.
Upon leaving school, Wayne was employed by the same company that had offered him a work experience placement as a Funeral Operative. During this time, in addition to his usual duties, he was able to learn more about the profession. Wayne would accompany the Funeral Director on appointments and soon learned the more complex aspects of arranging a funeral.
At the age of nineteen, Wayne was promoted to Funeral Director and has been serving the community of Frome and the surrounding areas ever since.
A few years later, having worked for several funeral directors and large conglomerate firms, Wayne decided to open his own funeral directors, where he is able to serve the local community in a role he sees not just as a job, but as a vocation.
Wayne takes great pride in his work and tirelessly strives to provide the best service to every family in his care. His extensive local knowledge, coupled with his years of experience, means he is able to offer a very personal and professional service.
Within the community, Wayne is a vibrant presence, actively engaging with several local organisations and groups.
